Oil filter Wix or OEM Honda

I like using the Wix longbois on my Camry feels like you’re getting more filter

I’ve long done 7500 oil change intervals for my naturally aspirated cars, and I’m sticking to 5000 in my turbocharged Subaru now, always with synthetic (Mobil 1 or Pennzoil Ultra Platinum, and a Wix XP oil filter).

Don't do 10k oil changes. Stick to 5k with OEM filter, Upgrated QX80/GTR filter or WIX Filter.

You should definitely change the oil. I always recommend doing an oil change when you buy a car. When I bought my 22 civic and took it to service (because it was still in warranty) the mechanic told me it was a great thing i brought it in because the filter was so loose that he basically did 2 turns before oil started coming out. You never want to risk anything.

Wix XP gave a nice pressure boost...about 10 PSI

Wix xp after watching project farms videos on filters. Historically have used all sorts of filters and never had an engine failure. Use full synthetic and change every 5k miles for twenty five years without any problems.

I saw 10 psi more oil pressure across the board from switching to a WIX XP filter. Did this now on all my cars and have the same results. Pretty phenomenal. I used to idle at 20psi like you and now I idle at 30.

I think WIX changed their manufacturing process because the one I bought appears to be plastic tack'd to the main housing now, and the ring breaks off when taking the old filter off.

i’d like to introduce you to the honda k series. filter on back of engine, hard to reach from top, hard to reach from bottom, easiest but still hard from wheel well. oh and if it’s a honda element or CRV, it pisses oil all down your subframe and axle shaft.
