Oil filter OEM Hyundai or OEM Toyota

OEM Toyota Oil filter

$48.11 is what I paid to buy the oil and filter at the dealership and do the labor myself. That's a genuine Toyota filter as well as a 6 quart case of Toyota 0W16.

Pros: genuine Toyota filter

OEM Toyota Oil filter

I'd do oil change as close to leaving as possible with full synthetic oil. Look into oil filter status after that long.

Pros: full synthetic oil

OEM Toyota Oil filter

they're not the best, but they are built exactly to Toyota's specifications. So, while it's possible to have an aftermarket filter not built to Toyota's specifications, an OEM filter is more-or-less guaranteed to operate as intended for your specific car.

Pros: built to specifications, operates as intended
Cons: not the best

OEM Toyota Oil filter

I tend to lean dealership if I don't do it myself. I have gone a couple of those places before and I damn near have to break out the screw driver to get the oil filter off.

Cons: overly tight oil filter
Vehicle: Toyota

Got 16 miles away and oil light come on no knocking. Oil all over engine. Had an oil filter that drops in in o6 them drop on paper ones were uncommon. They didn\u2019t change the o ring blew out all over the engine.

Pros: brand new Hyundai
Cons: oil all over engine
Vehicle: Hyundai
Mileage: 7242 km
