Oil filter Motorcraft or VALVOLINE

Motorcraft Oil filter

I use Mobile 1, 5/30 in my F150 EcoBoost...287K on it. Change every 6K . And I am an absolute believer in OEM filters. My new Bronco gets the same treatment. Don't skimp on the filter.

Pros: believer in OEM filters
Cons: Don't skimp on filter
Vehicle: Ford
Mileage: 287000 km

Motorcraft Oil filter

While Ford said you can use 5-20 I know where I live it gets warmer than 86 degrees so in my F150 I run 5-30 or 10/40.

I’ve had no issues with synth and have 255k on it.

Also…I would recommend a Motorcraft filter.

Pros: no issues with synth
Vehicle: Ford
Mileage: 255000 km

Motorcraft Oil filter

5000 miles, full synthetic, Pennzoil Ultra Platinum. Do it myself to make sure it's done right. Use the Motorcraft OEM filter.

Pros: done right

Mileage: 8047 km

VALVOLINE Oil filter

I like Valvoline Restore and Protect along with the OEM black filter. But also, if your washer fluid lights keeps coming on, just unplug it. It’s so much easier than trying to find an another bump in the road to purposefully drive over to turn off! \ud83d\ude02 some say you can fill your washer reservoir with white vinegar and clean the sensor, but it didn’t work for me.

Pros: Valvoline Restore and Protect, OEM black filter
Vehicle: Subaru
