Ignition coil NGK or HUCO

NGK Ignition coil

Used the mitsubishi one’s in my 2006 9-3 - no issues in over 7 years of use. Used these NGK in my 2011 9-5 (they were $2 more per coil but had a 3 year warranty) Different engine with OEM being Denso but the NGK have worked fine over the past year.

Pros: worked fine over year
Vehicle: Saab

NGK Ignition coil

I recently replaced using NGK. Solved my random miss holding at 5k. I'm pleased with them. Not lacking anything. It added some pep to my step, for sure.

Pros: solved random miss, pleased, added pep

I try to buy name-brand ignition coils like AC Delco, Denso, Motocraft or NGK. You're basically buying copper wire when you buy a coil . and the cheaper the coil, the less [copper.So](https://copper.So) they fail early

Cons: fail early

The new Chinese coil quickly craped out also - but not as dramatically as the old one. I had already ordered a huco coil so when it arrived, I returned the Chinese coil for a full refund. It's all good now

Pros: full refund
Cons: quickly craped out
