Upgraded my old and crusty headlights, to new OEM style TYC lights. It instantly improved the look of the vehicle and its safety and visibility! Definitely worth the $80 CAD investment. Product used: TYC # 20601400 (driver) and #20601300 (passenger) mine came with bulbs pre-installed.
Bought these for my 05 and they turned out nice.
For that price, you’re looking at the same cost as a set of TYC headlights, which are great quality headlights.
TYC or Depo are OE replacement lamps, they're good enough for insurance and/or body shops to use instead of OE. The difference is the lens material, it's a thinner, lower grade plastic.
My son bought some they looked immaculate. We compared the OEM housing to the TYC and it looked like TYC bought the molds or the engineering drawings as everything was identical, down to seam lines.
Looking some more and I ran across TYC brand and that may be what I have in my Suburban. Anyone have any experience with TYC regardless the year?
The other issues (and the warning) do not seem normal, but at least my S90L 2026 has condensation in the headlights from day 1 (literally). The user guide says it is normal.
TYC is as bad as it gets.
Don't get TYC. My beam pattern is poor, and I had cast metal parts inside the headlights get soft and bend from the heat.
TYC headlights are trash and their sealant is the main cause of letting moisture in.
