I replaced my worn out cloudy/mildewed headlight bodies on my 2006 CVPI with these TYC replacement OEM-look headlights from Rock Auto. So far, they've worked really well for the 4 months I've had them installed. No leaks/condensation or short circuits/failures. They were really useful on long drives (4-6 hours) at night or early morning where there aren't any streetlights for long stretches on the highway. The only complaint I have is the "high beams" just seem like a change in point of aim (higher), rather than increased illumination.

Pros: worked really well, no leaks, no failures, useful on long drives
Cons: high beams point of aim

I work at a body shop and I use TYC when I can. They are the best aftermarket HL supplier.

Pros: best aftermarket supplier

TYC Headlights

TYC is perfectly acceptable. I will say I have used TYC stuff in other applications where the connectors felt a little cheaper than the Hella OE, and the fit was not quite 100%

Pros: perfectly acceptable
Cons: cheaper connectors, fit not 100%

TYC Headlights

In my experience they're pretty bad. I had to replace my stock headlights '03 9-3(because all the clips that held the low beams where broken off) I went from barley being able to see at night to still not really being able to see at night. Another problem was the TYCs were missing a piece at the bottom so there was a pretty big panel gap between the bumper and light. The one good thing about them was the headlights themselves looked great.

Edit: As a broke HS student I put weather stripping between the panel gap, and that made it look pretty good. This was 6 years ago they might have improved, but I kinda doubt it

Pros: headlights looked great
Cons: poor visibility, panel gap, missing piece
Vehicle: Saab

TYC Headlights

In my experience the TYC headlights I've used have been pretty bad. Beam pattern is scattered all over the place and fit and finish is sub par.

Cons: bad beam pattern, sub par fit/finish

TYC Headlights

Just got my Honda Odyssey out of the body shop after an accident and they replaced my left headlight with aftermarket (TYC) brand. For context, the vehicle has factory auto leveling HIDs. The cutoff is not as sharp as the OE and the peripheral beam pattern has a lot of hot spots.

Cons: cutoff not sharp, hot spots in beam
Vehicle: Honda Odyssey
