Headlights OEM Toyota or EAGLE EYES

OEM Toyota Headlights

If I had a Corolla where a pair of replacement lights can be had for around $100 and I have the mechanical ability to do the replacement myself I wouldn't fuss with restoring.

Ask the dealer if they adjusted the headlight aim after the lift. If not, then the lift is affecting lighting performance.

Toyota and Ford SUVs are notorious for this. I owned a Landcruiser Prado and was getting high beamed all the time. I went to Toyota and they said nothing was wrong but only when i begged them to adjust them a couple of clicks down did things change for the better. Night driving wasnt affected for me and I never got high beamed again. I then became very aware of the vehicles blinding me at night using their low beams.

Pros: adjusting helped
Cons: blinding low beams

I bought some “eagle eyes” brand lights on eBay that look SO CLOSE to OEM, $250 for the pair. They’re crap. And turning the screws won’t even adjust them. They’re literal crap. They point at the ground and I can’t even see more than twenty feet in front of me at night.

Cons: crap, won't adjust

the stock headlights are awful. I’ll need a bulb upgrade (at a minimum) right away.

Pros: bulb upgrade needed
Cons: awful stock headlights

i bought an is300 with aftermarket headlights and moisture seeped in within a week of me having them, not sure how long they were installed. Bought new ones, sealed them with silicone which I found out doesn’t work well, then used a black rubber type sealant and it’s been fine ever since.

Pros: black rubber sealant works
Cons: moisture seeped in
