My Subaru Outback actually came equipped with laser beams - I know this because I commonly get people flashing at me to turn off my brights (and for shits and giggles I flash back)

Pros: very bright
Cons: blinding to others
Vehicle: Subaru Outback

Being that you went with the EU spec (recently just bought a pair from an EU model and had chat GPT verify the part numbers lmao) is there any issues with OTA updates?

Literally today I am putting my repaired headlight back in my F10. Was worse than yours, but started off looking like yours. Eventually I started getting faults for the headlight as water contaminated the electrics.

Cons: water contaminated electrics

Had to adjust my headligts down a bit on my '24 TXT as they were blinding people. Otherwise, the headlights are outstanding.

Pros: headlights are outstanding
Cons: blinding people

I have a ‘25 Outback Onyx XT, and even on regular setting, oncoming traffic flashes me as if my brights are on (they aren’t). Best headlights ever.

Pros: best headlights ever
Cons: traffic flashes me
Vehicle: Subaru Outback

Our '25 Forester had the lights aimed incredibly low. I followed the directions I've used in the past for aiming headlights:

* 25ft away from a wall on a flat surface

* Measure distance from ground to sideview mirrors

* Mark on a wall 1-2" less than that height

* Using a Philips screwdriver, adjust headlights so the beam on the driver side light comes just below that level

However, I did this and the lights were way too high - illuminating oncoming drivers. I had to adjust them lower by about 2-3" at 25'.

Pros: directions for aiming
Cons: lights aimed too low
Vehicle: Subaru Forester

I bought a used 2021 BMW 5 series. I live in a rural area without streetlights, so it’s pitchblack on curvy 50mph roads lined with trees dropping limbs and large animals crossing. These headlights are dangerous. Can’t see without my high beams, yet there are oncoming cars every 3 seconds. I’m left driving blind half the time.

Cons: dangerous, poor visibility, needs high beams

I came to reddit to make sure I wasn't crazy. 2025 Impreza. I just got it and had it out at night for the first time last night. Same exact issues. Very odd cutout on the road in front of me. Very distracting.

Cons: odd cutout, distracting
Vehicle: Subaru Impreza

Can't believe this is a "sealed unit" that managed to get condensation inside from driving through a puddle. What is BMW's QC coming to?

Cons: condensation inside, poor quality control

My wife\u2019s 2020 118i headlight had the yellow issue in one. Non-dealer bmw shop quoted us $3,500 but we had to do both for $7,000. About 50% of the residual value of the car, for a yellow headlight.

Cons: yellow issue
