Facelift, I have the pre though
Headlights were terrible. OEM plastic units with halogens. No bueno. Ordered the euro glass projectors with HIDs and new clear fogs (also HIDs). Much, Much, MUCH better. Aimed correctly. Light pattern is acceptable. Zero issues with flashing from other drivers.
I replaced both of mine with new factory units. They have held up, going on 8 yrs and still look new.
If I remember, the Eagle Eye headlights were a solid oem replacement.
They are the best of the aftermarket in my experience. That said they tend to fail with condensation after a year or so.
I have some from eBay by eagle eye. They are black housing and they look great, but I wish I sealed them with silicone before I installed them because they fog up after a car wash.
The headlights look like they\u2019re in shock all the time. The only part I\u2019m not a fan of this car.
I bought some “eagle eyes” brand lights on eBay that look SO CLOSE to OEM, $250 for the pair. They’re crap. And turning the screws won’t even adjust them. They’re literal crap. They point at the ground and I can’t even see more than twenty feet in front of me at night.
My BMW 2020 X7 lease is up and I’d like to do a lease buyout. My right headlight is cracked and BMW won’t repair it. Can I still do a lease buyout with the damaged headlight or will I be charged for that? BMW gave me a repair cost of almost 9k.
I have a 2019 M240i that gets condensation inside
the driver side headlight when it gets very wet (in a car wash or a very heavy rain- not so much in a light rain). This doesn’t really happen on the passenger side. I saw your response to the other person where you said this would be covered under warranty.
