The best bag for the buck is a set of Hella e-codes w. +50% bulbs like Phillips Vision Plus or Osram Silverstars. You will not be diasppointed w/ the perfromance. I've had almost every set of lights for a MKIV and I like regualr e-codes(either projector or reflector) over OEM HIDs.

Pros: good performance, not disappointed

Taking the challenge, I bought the headlights to give them a whirl. The housings fit great in the front clip assembly. Body lines and overall fit + finish is spectacular for aftermarket lights. And the price is reasonable compared to hard to find and overly expensive OEM HIDs.

Pros: great fit and finish
Cons: aiming needs shimming

They are quality, and that always counts. Hella is amazing. Those celis headlights up above look much better than all the other knockoff wannabe headlights that try to incorporate that technology and look.

Pros: quality, amazing

I dig the hellas...obviously. Especially the smoked ones - not only because I have them, but also because they have the crosshairs in the highbeams.

Pros: crosshairs in highbeams

I just got these new Hella Celis Golf Mk3 Headlights. I just pulled them apart tonight to show you Tex'ers the guts. Best quality, fit and finish compared to other Angel Eye applications.

Pros: best quality, fit and finish

basically, we installed Smoked dual rounds on Dubbstarr21's getta... and well, after getting over the original fitment problems, ran into some major wiring issues(no harnesses/connectors/directions/diagrams provided with lights).. the stock jetta/golf headlight connector had three \"pins\". Ground, low beam, and high beam. The Hella has ground, low, high, and city light. And it seems that the pins on the right/left Hella lights do not match each other. After lots of guessing/testing we came up to this point: thats the low beam position... the high beams are on at maybe 25-30% power, low beams seem to be at 100%.... this is high beam: the highs are on at what seems to be 100%; and the lows at maybe 5%.

Pros: high beams at 100%
Cons: major wiring issues, fitment problems
