I ordered a Depo drivers side unit. It came yesterday and I installed it today. Quality and fit and very good. The bulb out warning light on the dash eventually went out.

Pros: Quality and fit very good

Morimoto Headlights

Plug-and-play installation. The actual connection of the headlights was wildly easy. The hard part was accessing some of the bolts holding the bumper cover on. You need to bend the fender liners and reach way up into a tight space to access the second one and it took far longer than I wanted.

Pros: Plug-and-play installation
Cons: hard to access bolts
Vehicle: Nissan

Previously I had LEDs in the stock. The difference in the cutoff is drastic. There is absolutely no additional light outside where it is supposed to be. Good and bad. Good since I feel LEDs in stock housings are always bad for oncoming drivers, but they also would light up signs and markings a little further out. I think I will adjust these up a little from stock. Brights are excellent, no complaints there. Overall I'm really happy with the look, quality and ease of installation.

Pros: brights are excellent, easy installation
Cons: cutoff is drastic, smoked look

Get something OEM-equivalent, DEPO black housing headlights are a popular option. Most brands should be similar enough if you stick to OEM-style, but DEPO is the only brand I personally have experience with.

Pros: popular option, OEM-style

Oem is the best option, you can find deals on eBay or online sometimes, second best is depo aftermarket brand replacement headlights, not as good quality but the price is right.

Pros: price is right
Cons: not as good quality

Depo Headlights

I currently have on my car a set of depo/helix smoked angel eye headlights. One of the adjusters on the passenger side light has broke. The headlights themselves are in good shape, i would rate them about 7 out of ten. there are some nics in them from the previous owner being a daily driver, that seems to be the only problem minus the broken adjuster mechanism.

Pros: good shape
Cons: broken adjuster mechanism

The reason why the output is crappy is that even though the DEPO lights look pretty much the same on the outside, they basically just copy the original headlight design and don't do much at all with the actual optics, that's why even with your OEM bulbs the output still looks like crap.

Cons: crappy output, poor optics
