Gear oil AMSOIL or RED LINE

AMSOIL Gear oil

I have a 22 6MT. I changed my driveline fluids myself at 30k. Super easy. I used Amsoil severe gear 75w90. It’s full synthetic.

Pros: super easy, full synthetic
Mileage: 30000 km

RED LINE Gear oil

Redline gear oil tends to leave a thin film at all times slightly better than motul but does have a slightly longer warm up period.

Pros: better than motul
Cons: longer warm up period

AMSOIL Gear oil

I use Amsoil on my tundra. Except for the engine oil, i use mobil just because I changed my oil every 3000 miles, and i dont tow a lot, so I'm not reving my tundra as much . It is extremely expensive. I think I spend around 400.00 for the transmission, rear diff, transfer case, etc....But I did a lot of research on them, and they are worth the money.

Pros: worth the money
Cons: extremely expensive
Vehicle: Toyota Tundra
Mileage: 3000 km

Redline is very stiff when cold, but holds up better under harsh conditions (hard driving).

Pros: holds up better
Cons: very stiff when cold
