So problem was solved and car is now stage 1 and runs great last 15000km. problem was faulty injector. We have swapped injector with right one and as I said car runs great.
Had this happen to my 2017 CR-V about a year ago. As another reply mentioned, it ended up being fuel injectors, no problems since getting them replaced.
This happened on my 2021 atlas under 15000 miles - took to dealer and replaced 3 failed fuel injectors. Rode like a new car and no more stuttering or stalling.
I have a 2018 Tiguan and it started having the same issues every so often, then suddenly on the highway it went into limp mode restricting the engine to 4K rpm... turns out two cylinders weren\u2019t receiving fuel so those two injectors had to be swapped... under warranty thankfully!
I pulled the fuel injector rail and reconnected everything outside of the engine and found 2 of the reconditioned injectors were not firing even when switched with working ones.
I'm on my second fuel injector at 92,000 miles....i have a chip GIAC.....don't know if my stock injectors are getting worked O.T. but it is what it is i still enjoy my VW DUB.
Honda factory put in a defective fuel injector(s), and had to replace all of them. Got my vehicle back yesterday and in less than 24 hours, the engine starts bucking again and no power. The only difference now is that the emissions failure message came up on the dash computer screen. Now my vehicle limped back to the dealership for repairs that they supposedly already fixed. The service manager is telling us that because it’s a brand new type of engine that Honda is still trying to work out the bugs from the engine. If it goes in one more time for something else then Honda will be getting a lawsuit for selling me a lemon.
First, my fuel injectors went, $2500 repair. Took 1 month since the part was on backorder. After getting the car back, 2 weeks passed, and then a blown head gasket, $3800 repair.
I am driving 2018 Odyssey and had EXACT SAME PROBLEMS caused by Fuel Injectors. It was So annoying and pain in my butt to take care. Seems like all of their product lines are infected. It Will be my Last car from Honda, Period. No more Honda P.O.S ever in my life.
Up until a little over 45k miles, I was impressed that nothing had gone wrong. Then a little while back, it started to get a misfire. It was discovered that one of the fuel injectors needed to be replaced. That was a fairly expensive repair especially for a car with such low miles.
