Engine oil ZIC or Lucas

ZIC Engine oil

One of the best engine oils, exclusive Zic lang ginagamit ko, and it's a Korean company so alam mong goods yan. Pero ako Zic X9 ang ginagamit ko, mas mahal kaysa sa M9 pero API SP naman na and may resource conserving certifications kaya mas madulas and mas tipid sa gas.

Pros: mas madulas, mas tipid
Cons: mas mahal

Been using it for over a year now sa daily scooter ko. Change oil every 2.5k kms, and so far, less wear and tear naman. Engine feels smoother, and surprisingly, di ganun kadumi yung langis pag draining time. Solid for daily use.

Pros: Engine feels smoother
Cons: less wear and tear
Mileage: 2500 km

I'm riding a Mio Gear S, and ever since I started using ZIC, the performance has been outstanding. It’s a perfect match for my motorcycle.

Pros: outstanding performance

Lucas Engine oil

  • Engine noise:
Rating 3.0

My mechanic added a bunch of Lucas to the oil, which he said might at least quiet it down, and it did. It's quieter now, but I can still hear it at idle.

Pros: quieter engine knock
Cons: still audible at idle

  • Exhaust smoke:
Rating 1.0

I used the middle one on an old 200,000KM Porsche Cayman S that was burning oil. It made it worse, smoke started coming out of the engine when the oil cap was off and I felt like the engine would soon die.

Cons: made it worse, smoke
Vehicle: Porsche Cayman
Mileage: 200000 km
