Engine oil Shell or RED LINE

Shell Engine oil

I had an 03 Camry from new till 2019. Had 335,000 miles when I sold it. That car got Rotella T6 5w40 since new. I still wonder how long that car would have lasted if I kept it.

Pros: long engine life, good performance
Mileage: 335000 km

Fixed many ls engines with excessive oil burning by switching them to t4 rotella 15w-40. The rotella t4 flavor of it is a fantastic oil. If you're engine has good oil pressure and isnt burning oil then theres probably no need to for it but its not gonna hurt a thing. Gen 3 ls engines arent some super tight tolerance engine, i probably wouldn't put 15-40 in a motor that calls for 0-20 but your 5.3 will not care at all.

Pros: fixed oil burning, fantastic oil

He may be using it for the 15w40 weight for noise or lower oil pressure. I ran Rotella in my 94 F150 with the 5.8l gas engine because I bought it with a slight knock. After a while I dropped down to the 10w30 Rotella and ran it for year, lifted mud truck driven daily and in the woods on weekends. It will be fine, just get some clarification on why. I currently run Rotella 10w30 in my 4.2l Envoy.

Pros: ran for year

I only run 5-40 Full Synthetic on my Armada and all my vehicles in the past. I've never had an issue and only changed the oil once a year or whenever 7500 miles hit. As for what brand, Shell Rotella T6 5-40.

Pros: no issues, extended drain intervals
Vehicle: Nissan
Mileage: 7500 km

Ran Redline 5w40 when it became purely a summer car in ~2013. ... Not seals are leaking, no issues of any form. Car has been Cobb stage 2 91oct tuned (OTS, not pro-tuned) almost 14 years, with a Crawford v2 AOS, Killer B oil pickup + windage tray being the only reliability mods, and it doesn't burn a single molecule of oil.

Pros: no leaks, no issues, no oil consumption
Vehicle: Subaru

Rotella T6 5w-40 is what I’ve ran in the car ever since it was tuned and I get great feedback from blackstone labs when sending in my oil for analysis.

Pros: great feedback from analysis
Vehicle: Subaru

My experience sa long ride, malamig sya for my scooter. Ayun yung ginagamit ko after mag general pms. Better sya sa ibang nasubukan kong engine oil like petron.

Pros: malamig sya for scooter

You can use it for motorcycles I have in the pass only thing I don't like is my bikes don't shift gears super smooth with rotella also in my Yamaha owners manual it says in capital letters do not use diesel oil and I did and I fried my clutch plates and had to put new clutch plates

Cons: bikes don't shift smooth
