Engine oil Shell or OEM Toyota

I would order Shell Helix for £20/4L online instead.

I have used Shell Rotella T6 for 19 years on this engine with no issue.

Mannol 5W30 the one with JP at the end

Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 if you like to experiment, will make your bug quieter, but you will discover other noises (like tires, rattles of the trunk cover, gear noise, compressor of aircon).

On 0w16 the engine is smoother, more responsive, quieter and consuming about 0.2L to 0.5L less fuel per 100 km.

Toyota OEM oil is very high quality stuff with lots of wonderful additives that are good for a long lasting engine.

Shell Rotella T6 5w40 and Tokyo Roki OEM filter all day everyday.

Both oils significantly reduced oil consumption

Mas smooth siya kesa sa shell long ride tapos fully synthetic at API SP na din.

Yung sa pcx160 ko, bago ako lumipat sa amsoil dati ginagamit ko yung shell advance fuel save 10w-30 fully synthetic. Goods sya smooth sya gamitin at maganda performance

Rotella T6 5w-40. No difference in fuel mileage or anything.

I used Toyota OEM oil twice and was disappointed by the way it changed color at less than 5,000 kms. Two different mechanics asked me if I had delayed the oil change. Since then I started using Synthetic 0W-20 and never had any complaints.
