Engine oil Shell or OEM Subaru

Tried other brands pero Shell pa rin talaga

I only run 5-40 Full Synthetic on my Armada and all my vehicles in the past. I've never had an issue and only changed the oil once a year or whenever 7500 miles hit. As for what brand, Shell Rotella T6 5-40.

Rotella T6 5w-40 is what I’ve ran in the car ever since it was tuned and I get great feedback from blackstone labs when sending in my oil for analysis.

My experience sa long ride, malamig sya for my scooter. Ayun yung ginagamit ko after mag general pms. Better sya sa ibang nasubukan kong engine oil like petron.

I would order Shell Helix for £20/4L online instead.

I have used Shell Rotella T6 for 19 years on this engine with no issue.

Mannol 5W30 the one with JP at the end

Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 if you like to experiment, will make your bug quieter, but you will discover other noises (like tires, rattles of the trunk cover, gear noise, compressor of aircon).

Shell Rotella T6 5w40 and Tokyo Roki OEM filter all day everyday.

Both oils significantly reduced oil consumption

Rotella T6 5w-40. No difference in fuel mileage or anything.

It seems to do a fine job lubricating, but, everything I ever put it in started consuming oil. They all stopped once I switched to other oils.
