'17 f150 5.0l with 150k running 5w-20 motorcraft. Not a single problem and this was used to haul a 12' steel enclosed trailer loaded from day 1 and the wind blows a LOT here. Doesnt use a drop of oil.

Pros: no problems, no oil consumption

I found out that most of it came from the valve lifters. So I began using Rowe 10W40 engine oil. That helped a lot.

Pros: helped a lot

ROWE Engine oil

ITS A LOT THICK! than other brands of the same weight.. but when you abuse the vehicle it gets smooth like butter. I like them if I plan to aggressively dune bash.

Pros: gets smooth like butter
Cons: a lot thick

ROWE Engine oil

I used both rowe 5w30 507.00 and the OEM VW HIGH PERFORMENCE 0w30 (yes 0w30) 507.00

I didnt notice any difference between the two . Wear on my oil analysis was about the same with both oils.

Pros: same wear analysis
Cons: no noticeable difference
Vehicle: Volkswagen
