Engine oil PENNZOIL or ZIC

Frankly, we ran 0W20 for the first 175k miles in our 2017 RAV4. I changed to 5W30 because my Turbocharged Mazda also calls for 5W30.

99 Ls400 owner. Pennzoil Ultra Platinum every 5k miles.

Pennzoil Platinum Euro full synthetic 5W40 on my Abarth. Same weight as written on the engine oil cap and in the user's manual. 5l jugs easily available for $40 CAD plus HST.

Pennzoil Euro Platinum 5w40. This oil is slept on but out performs most other expensive oils outside of Amsoil.

Nice work. My 2012 camryil4 se gets new oil every 3k 0-20 pennzoil ultra syn. 112,000 mi.

Penzoil Ultra Platinum 0-W20 @3-4K and Mobile 1 Extended Performance Oil Filter. I like that Penzoil derives their oil from natural gas.

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum has some of the best cold flow characteristics so I'm not in a hurry to change it even though it's 5W-30.

From what I've learned the best oil for the Turbo of any model with direct injection which Mazda uses is Pennzoil Ultra Platinum.

My 2024 Toyota Rav4 Prime XSE has had 2 used oil analysis tests done at 4k and 8k miles on Pennzoil Platinum 0w-16 and Eneos 0w-16. Both results showed both oils shearing lower and out of grade to a 0w-8 viscosity at 100C in 4k miles.

BMW switched from Castrol to Penzoil years ago...but both cause oil starvation in The S65 motor
