Engine oil PENNZOIL or OEM Mazda

Ultra premium is the best oil after amsoil, but amsoil is too expensive for this car, pennzoil is the best and cheap

I've been using penzoil platinum

I’ve used nothing but Pennzoil Platinum since the free oil changes ran out, 150k or so now, and never had a problem.

I prefer ultra platinum over mobil 1 since ultra is used with a group 3+ base oil, which has better heat handling than regular group 3 oil.

I use pennzoil ultra platinum 0w-20 and a purolator BOSS filter

For Naturally-Aspirated Skyactiv engines, it is highly recommended that you use Mazda's own(Idemitsu) high molly GF-5 0w-20. Arguably it is one of the best oil for skyactiv engines.

I use Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30.

2020 Telluride with 80,000 mi still going strong with Pennzoil Platinum Ultra at regular change intervals.

I often find Pennzoil Platinum Euro LX at 37$ for 5L at Canadian tire. They are all great oils.

I used Valvoline synthetic in my first SHO, and I am using Mobile 1 in my latest SHO. I tried Pennzoil in my 5.0 (Windsor) and all the lifters started clattering.
