I’ve heard a lot of people and shops use motul.
Motul 0w30 has the correct approvals also.
Pennzoil euro platinum LX 0W30 is the only readily available one that has the fiat/API approvals for the engine, advance auto usually has in stock at most locations.
Motul 300V for track use.
Currently using Motul 8100 Eco 0w20. Abit pricey but I switched to since it has the latest certs for turbo charged engines.
I'm partial to Pennzoil Platinum Ultra 5w-30 based on UOA's at Bitog and other internet sources...
Motul Is the snizz. I put it in my Honda and every German car that comes in for service.
I’m using penz plat though I’ve only had my oil changed once (3500 on my OD) but so far so good. My oil temp stays around the 200 mark once fully warmed up and has been running very smoothly.
The data I've seen round the web, including BITOG forums says that Pennzoil Platinum and Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5W-30 is as good or better than the waaay overpriced Motul stuff.
Motul xclean, amsoil signature series, valvoline max life, and penzoil ultra platinum are the favorites.
