The 508 spec gets you better mpg and less dirty emissions. Gotta look at the bottle carefully. Mobil ESPX2 0w20 has that spec.

I use Mobil one in Canada when it goes on sale synthetic 0W20 10 k intervals 13 yr old corolla 1.8 and 15 yr old tundra 5.7 350 k and 320 km ; no oil consumption work great

Pros: no oil consumption, works great

Go for 5W40 rating. They work the best for all BMW diesel engines. I’d recommend the Mobil 1

Both are good, the high mileage and the restore and protect. I personally run Mobil 1 high mileage full synthetic with a wix filter and it has been great for me.

04 Silverado, 186k been using Mobile 1 full synthetic for the last 10+ years. Runs great!

Mobil 1 for me is like water in this car. I ran it for the longest time till I was tuned but switched over
