Liqui-Moly Top Tec 6600 0w20 meets the specification listed in the manual for my wife's RR Westminster, STJLR.03.5006. Just thought I'd share because it's the only alternative I've found to Edge Professional.
I use liquid moly moly gen 5w40 for my 2012 gli. This car used to burn oil like crazy but after using there engine cleaner and oil saver car barely burns anything between 5k intervals. Oil works great, plus it’s green lol
I use Liqui Moly 508.00 Top Tec 6200 0w20 and change the oil every 10k km. This oil is good but more expensive.
Liqui Moly top tec 6200 0w20. Been running it for 90k miles of my 123k mile ownership of my car. No issues related to the oil.
I used to use Liqui Moly for my E92 M3 and it ran beautifully until 175k miles
Yes this is proper. If deleted don’t worry too much about the 507, i believe 505 will still work. Afaik the euro spec for Pennzoil is about the ash levels. I usually put in liquimoly 4200, but i was an awful amout low between changes when i checked last so I got 5 litres of this for 40 bucks canadian which was a steal. Topped it off and no problems.
I use Liqui Molly - which has the Volvo-required spec - purchased through FCP Euro. Hope that helps.
In my A4 2.0T I use 4qts of Liqui Moly 5w40 and 1qt of Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Treatment.
Liquimoly is only oil you should be running in your turbo vw
Ughh. How did I miss that! I thought I was just saving $5 a liter for the same thing. I am so annoyed with myself. :banghead: I just pulled up the specs for both and indeed the Synthoil has a viscosity index of 171 vs 180 for the Leichtlauf. Also the NOACK for Synthoil is 12.9% vs 10.0% for Leichtlauf. From what I can tell the 12.9% NOACK of Synthoil is what doesn't allow it to have the VW 502 00 approval.
