Engine oil Eneos or OEM FORD

OEM FORD Engine oil

My wife's truck recommends 5w-20. Burns it like a mfer though. I run 10w-40 in it and have for several years. Still going strong. 01 f150. Do with that what you will.

Pros: still going strong
Cons: burns oil
Vehicle: Ford

I change my oil and the filter every 5000km,and my engine is running smooth after 280.000 Kms,with no oil consumption. Use ONLY full synthetic oil. Personally i use Eneos oil.

Pros: engine running smooth
Cons: no oil consumption
Mileage: 280000 km

OEM FORD Engine oil

My Ford Freestyle with a 3.0L takes 6 quarts, while my Pontiac Grand Prix with a supercharged 3.8L takes 4.3 quarts. Go figure. I was shocked when I saw how much oil the Ford takes.

Eneos Engine oil

I'd stick with oem or put some better stuff like Motul or Eneos into it. Eneos has some relation to Honda oem oil I forget the story. I use to put only mutul into my car but have recently switched to Eneos, will be putting eneos 0w-20 race prior to tune.

Pros: better stuff
Vehicle: Honda

I’ve used Shaffer’s and now ENEOS and T6 when it was the in thing and I can’t really tell a huge difference.

Pros: no huge difference
