Brake pads TRW or OEM Hyundai

Io ho messo le pastiglie TRW Dtec Cotec al posteriore e mi trovo bene le metterò anche davanti appena posso , me ne hanno parlato bene anche per quanto riguarda polveri e residui

For me as an owner of a 2019 Hyundai Veloster with 60k and after 5 years of ownership , the only thing I had to do was change the oil , filter and brake pads.

I would recommend the TRW ultra pads from the official ZF store on eBay. $50 total for front and rear. They’re a tier 1 oem supplier, and the ultra line is their premium aftermarket offering. Similar to akebono and the pro act line which isn’t available for the 4th gen. The solid Bosch rotors would be a good choice. Centric as well.

I upgraded my brakes. I went with TRW ultra ceramic pads, Zimmermann front rotors, brembo rear rotors, and it was definitely a big upgrade. The brakes no longer feel spongy, much better overall feel, and less brake dust.

I am just now contemplating a sad goodbye to my 2003 Elantra VLE. It needs a brake job but has become a rust bucket driving in harsh winter conditions, Ottawa, Montreal.

I have a 21 Kona this was my 3rd winter with it here in NL, no rust proofing and they love using 1000% salt on our roads, no issue on my whatsoever. I have it checked every time we get our wheels changed sometimes they have to greese the pins on the breaks but no corrosion or anything.

I didn't touch the calipers, I thought the calipers were ATE, but could be TRW. I only changed out rears at this time, fronts are still the same. The pads are TRW ceramic something or others that came with zimmerman rotors in the cheapish FCP kit.

TRW Ceramic Pads: Good for city driving, almost not dust, would not recommend for any track

I currently have TRW NAO pads and zimmerman rotors all around on my S60, very dusty but bites harder than ceramic, especially when they are cold.

I used to own a 2012 sonata and one day last year the brakes started acting extremely sensitive and would even to activate on their own (it would cancel out cruise control when my foot wasn’t touching the brakes) and would cause my car to feel like it was stalling out.
