Brake pads Textar or DBA

I got genuine discs from ML performance for much much less than dealer prices, coupled with textar pads made to the same spec as M4 pads (M4 pads are also a drop in upgrade, I believe textar is OE for M4 pads), noticed minimal difference in performance though.

I have these exact pads. HUGE improvement.

I have the T2s and the DBA SP Street Performance Brake Pads, the green ones, on 4 corners along with SS brake lines. They have been rock solid since sept of 2022 over 50k miles. Hardly any brake dust compared to Stoptech street semi metallic. They are a great all-round setup, Street and canyons.

I'm running DBA Street Performance pads. Low dust and performance seems fine. I'd buy again.

I did change my F30 with Textar and it was plug n play. No need to go big if you don’t go on track days often imo.

I beat the hell out of some OE Textars in 110+ heat at Buttonwillow and they held up admirably. You don’t need anything more for the street.

Quality pads and rotors tend not to warp out in a couple hundred miles. If you bought Durlast junk from Autoroo then that's the reason. Stick with OE/OEM Quality like ATE rotors and Textar pads.

I haven't done VW brakes in a while, but I usually use Textar pads on my BMW and Mini. They are OE supplier for most of the BMW brakes, but they do make a lot of dust.

Well, I just put Textar pads on and am looking to swap them because they\u2019re super dusty and squeal with light pressure, so I too would love some recommendations.

I recently replaced some on a 981 with Textar and don’t recommend it. So much dust and some noise at low speed braking.
