Nah these are solid and I would say probably one of the best non big brake kits you could possibly get performance wise that's just my opinion though. I run their Carbon weave track pads, the braided steel brake lines, front and rear calipers, and drilled/slotted rotors got the entire front/rear kit w calipers for about 700 and the lines were about 150 I think. I've had them for 3 years now and they've been amazing I've done one set of pad changes so far and I'm going to be doing pads again and replacing the rotors next summer I've not had one problem with the parking brake sticking or the calipers siezing. Rotors haven't cracked or warped or anything and still have a smooth feel to them braking no Hotspots. The rotors themselves also held up amazing rust wise. This is on a 2007 civic Si. I also have not had one instance of brake fade and the bite is MUCH better than OEM.
Have this on my Beamer, they work pretty good. Can’t complain for the price. They fade a little quick in comparison, but that’s when you are stopping from a buck or so. Honestly not bad just don’t get them too hot.
These cheap drilled / slotted rotor and pads set can be strangely good at times. I got a set for my dad's 2003 Santa Fe in 2016, and they're still going strong and smooth after 50k miles.
I have the exact same setup on my 91 miata. Same bundle with pads and all. I paid around that price and I've had them on for 2 months and love them. Huge difference over my stock setup. Replaced calipers at the same time and everything is smooth with no weird noises.
I got these for my accord v6 and it works great it a little on the loud side tho but other then that I like them
I put these on my 1999 Acura CL, about 6 or more years ago. Only complaints are lots of brake dust to clean off the rims. Stopping power has been good, and not performance issues I was surprised how cheap it was and just went for it. Total miles may be 40k ish.
Had them on an optima, they look good and have decent bite when breaking
I currently have the Z26's on my daily driver Integra SiR. They stop good on the road and look nice. I'd honestly recommend them for daily use.
My AMG (I'm just a Bimmer lurker) is the same way. Performance pads and rotor slots, my brother. PowerStop has some lower dust pads.
I have them and haven't seen any improvement in braking. They're also very noisy.
