A few weeks ago I replaced the front pads and rotors on my ‘21 grand touring. I got Duralast Gold rotors and Duralast Elite brake pads from Autozone. An independent repair shop installed them. They are working fine. I decided to purchase from Autozone for the warranty, which is lifetime on the pads and 3 years on the rotors.

Pros: working fine, lifetime warranty
Vehicle: Mazda

I had the same problem. Just ordered ceramic pads from auto zone and swapped them out. Car is smooth and quiet now. I can’t stress enough the difference it makes for anyone dealing with the noisy rough brakes.

Pros: smooth, quiet brakes
Cons: noisy, rough brakes
Part number: DG2074 AND 2255

I have had the Tiguan SEL Turbo for a few weeks now. I was reversing out of a parking spot and the brakes locked up thinking something was behind me. Not a soft brake, I thought I backed up into someone. No car or person there? Did it twice and never again.

Pros: all else is OK
Cons: brakes locked up

Took my 2019 Golf R to the track with stock pads and rotors. The brakes started smelling really bad after 20 minutes of track time, and squealing a bit. Didn’t lose braking power significantly, but this is what they look like afterwards.

Cons: smelling bad, squealing

Same on my wife's '22 Atlas. So much so that I think it activates the parking sensors on every occasion when we slowly come to a stop, like in a red light and nothing is around the vehicle to make the parking sensors activate. It's just at 37k miles but I'm considering upgrading the pads and rotors!

Pros: considering upgrading
Cons: activates parking sensors, noise at stop
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 37000 km
