Hawk LTS improved the pedal in my 460, and unlike power stop, Hawk isn’t the laughing stock of track day communities
I have Hawk 5.0 pads with KnS standard rotors and they've been pretty great so far.
I’d used hawk ceramic pads especially since you don’t plan on tracking the car. Low dust and will keep the wheels looking good between washes
They don't even squeal as much any more
Hawk DTC-60 pads are the best value performance pads I found. Stock blank rotors are fine, I upgraded to a 335i sport caliper set and its been more than sufficient for many track days
EBC for occasional track and daily pad. HAWK DCT60 is what I’m running. Stops so good!!
I ran hawk hp+ pads last year before starting my first track season ever. After 7-8 track days, driving to and from track, and the occasional fun drive on the street. About 10k miles later, I swapped them for fresh hp+ pads for this year. Comparing the old vs fresh pads, I used about 50% of the pad.
I use Zimmerman rotors and Hawk HPS pads on all my Audis.
Get some Hawk HP+ pads and you’ll restore the balance.
They’re noisy and nasty and will ruin the wheel finish, but they grab hard.
I ran Hawk DTC60's for one event. They dust like crazy which isn't the end of the world by itself, but if the dust touches any moisture at all (like the rainy track day) it mixes into what I can only describe as ferrous concrete. So not only is the dust-crete impossible to remove by any normal means, it then rusts like crazy, turning whatever wheels you have into a runny orange mess. I tried multiple different wheel cleaners, multiple brushes, soaking, anything and nothing could get it off. I had to use scotch brite and scuff the hell out of the wheels to get it off. Fortunately I run cheap TRM wheels and it's a track-only car otherwise I would have been livid.
