I recently got the dynamic friction rotors and pad kit to replace the oem rears and I like them so far. It’s only been about 500 miles, but in my opinion are a little better at stopping compared to the oem. Plus the price was really good.

Pros: better stopping, good price
Mileage: 500 km

I went with Dynamic Friction instead after hearing lots of negative feedback, so far very happy 6 mo later. I drive fast and they stop very well. Does produce quite a bit of brake dust though.

Pros: stops very well
Cons: brake dust

I have Dynamic friction 5000 low metallic pads on my 21 3.3 G70 RWD and love them, better bite but dust a bit more than OEM but no brake judder for the 5k miles I've had them on so far.

Pros: better bite, no brake judder
Cons: dusts more than OEM
Mileage: 5000 km

I've been using Dynamic Friction 1000141300 track pads from Rockauto. They've seen 6 or 7 track days now and have work really well without overheating. They also do fine on the street.

Pros: work really well, no overheating
Part number: 1000141300

Duralast Brake pads

I have the Dynamic Friction 5000 low metallic pads and they've been a nice improvement. Have no brake judder, better bite, and a bit more dusting from the pads (great tradeoff IMO).

Pros: nice improvement, better bite
Cons: more dusting

OEM Chevrolet Brake pads

Changed my front pads on 2021 Silverado and had same issue. Dash lit up with warnings and checking engine light. Disconnected battery for 30 plus minutes, pressed brake pedal 2/3rd way down and held for 45 seconds and released slowly, waited 15 seconds and repeated. Did this process for the entire 30 minutes. Reconnected negative terminal on battery and that cleared all warnings except check engine light. Drove for short distance and engine light went off. Just can’t reset my brake pad wear setting, so thinking new sensor may be bad so I ordered a OEM replacement.

Pros: Cleared most warnings
Cons: Check engine light remained

OEM Chevrolet Brake pads

My 2025 RS AWD has been having squealing brakes since 1,000 miles at low speed. It has 3,500 on it now and it's annoying.

Cons: squealing brakes, annoying at low speed
Vehicle: Chevrolet Equinox
Mileage: 5633 km
