Zimmerman rotors and Hawk HPS 5.0 pads on all four corners. Not the first time I've used Hawks like these, but they feel pretty good so far. Using Motul 600 fluid.

Pros: feel pretty good
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 82000 km

I prefer Hawk Truck pads. Been using them on my tree for 20 years. Get good life out of them. Check pad wear. Mine squeak under light braking when dusty.

Pros: long life, good quality
Cons: squeak when dusty

I've also had the Hawk HPS, another popular pad, but this has less bite and actually takes some leg work to really get them working IMO. I didn't like the feel.

Cons: less bite, poor feel

Hawk 5.0 for street/autox. I like them but they do make a fair bit of dust and maybe a little underpowered for heavy track.

Pros: good for street/autox
Cons: lots of dust, underpowered

The M240i needed new pads and rotors. I order HPS 5.0 + Zimmerman rotors from FCP's site which says they're compatible. I install them and the car sounds like a jalopy. Loud wub wub wub under braking and only braking, more pressure == more loud. It sounds like it's coming from both fronts.

Cons: loud wub wub wub
Vehicle: BMW

Hawk Performance Brake pads

Hawk DTC-60 are known for tearing apart rotors. I went through 2 sets of OEM rotors on my m2 running Endless MS35 pads and I got the same grooving both times. Luckily without the vibration and shaking.

Cons: tearing apart rotors
Vehicle: BMW M2
