Brake pads EBC or Raybestos
So I don't work for Raybestos but I do install a ton of them. Those EHT are really good for normal vehicles. The price is right, dust is low, pedal feel is great, friction is about on par with OEM and in some cases better. They will survive about 10-15 medium effort stops, and about 3-5 Hard ABS stops. I wouldn't put them in anything bigger than a 7-Seater V6 Crossover, and the weight of those is on the limit of what the pads can do, but over all very good.
I've always been a big fan of EBC pads since I did them on a 98 GLX I had. I actually recommend them to people who want something a bit more aggressive but don't want a race pad.
One of the Sciroccos currently has EBC green stuff pads and EBC slotted rotors. Not a single issue.
I put EBC Red pads on my MINI and they have been great, the car stops better and I see no dust at all on the wheels.
I've very much enjoyed my EBC green pads on my dailies, they do dust a bit but grab pretty nice and don't squeal. Never had a buildup that causes vibration.
I've run multiple sets (Green Stuff and Yellow Stuff) without issue. Yes, the yellows dust quite a bit but no more than most semi-metallic pads I've had. As far as vibrations go, my 2013 Abarth has Yellow Stuffs all around that feel great and just completed a track day last Monday without issue.
I changed out the stock pads for EBC reds in the first couple thousand miles, so I will see how that ratio works out.
312 upgrade. Stoptech slotted rotors and EBC Redstuff pads.
I got EBC red pads from ECS for my SQ5 I got 40000km to a set of fronts/rears but man they were shot when they came off.
I wouldn't; it could throw off braking performance ... like now your rear pads bite harder than your front. Plus your front do most of the work.
