I use these on my Jetta, work great. Pads don’t last as long as OEM, but ????♂️
I recently got the dynamic friction rotors and pad kit to replace the oem rears and I like them so far. It’s only been about 500 miles, but in my opinion are a little better at stopping compared to the oem. Plus the price was really good.
Duralast stuff is fine. Their pads are fine. Their pads also have a lifetime warranty through AutoZone.
I went with Bosch Quiet off Amazon. I just cruise around and they work fine and are quiet.
Bosch’s Quietcast brakes have never done me wrong. I’ve used them in three vehicles now and had good pad life and performance on a budget. No squeaks, decent life for ceramics.
I went with Dynamic Friction instead after hearing lots of negative feedback, so far very happy 6 mo later. I drive fast and they stop very well. Does produce quite a bit of brake dust though.
I have Dynamic friction 5000 low metallic pads on my 21 3.3 G70 RWD and love them, better bite but dust a bit more than OEM but no brake judder for the 5k miles I've had them on so far.
Honestly for everyday driving the Bosch and centric is a good combo. The powerstop are very grabby and have a bit more stopping power but it’s not worth the extra money, plus long term normal rotors are better. Drilled/slotted don’t have as much durability
Replaced the rears with Duralast Elites today. They are a bit louder (you can hear the pad dragging on the rotor inside the car). Maybe they will not be as loud as they break in.
2023 Taos I'm at 25k miles and rear rotors and brakes need replacement. metal on metal destroyed the rotors.
