Brake discs Zimmermann or Raybestos

Blank discs work just fine, I've been using raybestos and they've been pretty good so far

I'm running some Raybestos R300 rotors from Rockauto no issues.

Zimmerman rotors and OEM pads. Less brake dust, and no squeaking

Zimmerman rotors are top notch.

I use Zimmerman rotors on my XC60 and her BMW. Excellent bang for buck in my opinion. Don’t like brembo pads for the dust, use Akebono on BMW, Alebono or Volvo pads on Volvo for dust control.

Zimmermann from FCP Euro hav been great on my N55 F10.

check out the Zimmermann set from FCP. Much smoother, and almost no brake dust. And I believe they cover a full replacement under their warranty program.

According to the newsletter today, Rock Auto has added Zimmerman to their catalog. They have some for Phaetons if yours has the smaller front rotors.

The previous owner had a brand new set of front and rear pads and rotors that came with the car when I bought it. Raybestos brand, assuming he bought them off Rockauto. Anyways, front went together no problem but the rear calipers needed pressed in to fit new the pads.

I got those Raybestos Element 3 rotors and they immediately warped. I didn't bother buying anything else, but just had them turned and they are good enough now.
