On the side/personal vehicles? Raybestos coated rotors with OEM pads or Wagner OEX pads every time. Consistent quality, smooth strong braking and low dust.

My '21 brakes started shaking around 20K miles as well. I installed Dynamic Friction coated rotors and ceramic pads from Rockauto. They have lasted longer than the stock OEM brakes with similar performance.

Pros: Longer lasting, similar performance
Cons: Shaking brakes
Vehicle: Toyota Highlander
Mileage: 20000 km

Raybestos Brake discs

Not at all worth it. Go on Rockauto and get ones from a reputable brand like Raybestos or Centric. They’re just as good if not better than OEM for like 1/4 the price.

Pros: good quality, low price

Do not go cheap. I even tried the top-of-the-line products house brand from AutoZone and advance auto parts. The front rotors warp in three to 6 months even their premium products. I struggled with this for years trying to figure out what it was. I switched to Raybestos element 3 problem solved. Do not go cheap on the front.

Pros: problem solved, reliable
Cons: rotors warp quickly
