Brake discs R1 Concepts or OEM Volkswagen

I have r1 concepts on right now. They haven't treated me bad at all.

I just bought a set of all 4 cross drilled slotted rotors with the black anti rust coating all around with a set of ceramic brake pads front and back and hardware. Brand name R1 concepts.

The front and rear bearings were replaced, new rotors and calipers for both, with mk4 rear calipers and the larger 11.3” driver’s edition calipers and rotors from the brake bible, with their new lines, pads

I got R1 concepts drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads and they've been awesome.

I just put a set of R1 Concepts drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads. Huge improvement over OEM.

Great quality at a decent price. I've been using them for almost 15 years on everythinng from a minivan to 2 BMWs.

Yup. My front were grooved, rears were "diagnosed" as warped by VW techs. 12k miles. New pads and rotors has 7000 miles, haven't noticed anything yet.

I had my rotors replaced at 32345 miles with aftermarket brake pads back ordered. 2 months later bad vibration took back to,dealer bad rotors and pads feels good but now rears are squeaking lmao

my brakes started to vibrate a bit when braking at or above 70mph, and it's only progressively gotten worse. From the first inspection (always at the same dealer I bought it from), I've asked the techs to double check the rotors, as it just didn't seem right to me, but they always brushed it off as normal and no big deal. I just took it in for an inspection (now at 22,700~ miles), and they tell me that yes, my rotors are warped, and that I'll need to replace the rotors and pads to alleviate the issue.

I personally have had a bad experience with r1 brakes two different times on two different cars. Not saying they're bad just won't buy again. Rotors warped almost immediately both times. New pads and rotors on both cars.
