Brake discs POWER STOP or R1 Concepts
I have R1Concepts Geo-Carbon series rotors (2nd vehicle I’ve used them on), absolutely no complaints from my Giulia. I’m rocking them with Porterfield R4-S pads and the bite in dry is very nice and feels the same in wet.
R1 concepts slotted drilled rotors and pads along with some GoSpeed traction drop springs and alignment.
Powerstop drilled/slotted on mine for like 70k and they’ve been great. Oddly enough it looks like the fronts will outlast the rears.
I’ve ran the R1 concepts D/S with OE Pads, steel lines, MOTUL 660 fluid. I’ve got them pretty hot on mountain road runs many times, no issues.
I got Power Stop CRK8522 front and rear (got rotors too) off Amazon.
Powerstop is one of the best option for brakes. I'm planning of using them when I need new pads and rotors. I've used them on a few projects and have never been disappointed. In fact, I like them better compared to oem rotors with akebono pads.
I used these exact pads and rotors on wife's Honda CRV and also my F150. They are excellent and work very well on both. The rotors still look like new after close to 2 years due to the nice silver coating-NO RUST. High quality at a good price.
I just replaced all 4 rotors and the pads with the Powerstop coated rotor kit for my 2015 Limited. Got it at Amazon. Perfect OEM fit and no problems whatsoever after a few hundred miles.
R1 concepts are fine not the best.
The R1 concepts will be rusting in 3 months or less.
