Brake discs POWER STOP or OEM Toyota

POWER STOP Brake discs

I bought powerstop drilled and slotted rotors from rock auto back in 2022. 3 years later they weren't even halfway through the pads. I paid $685 for carbon ceramic pads + rotors and accessories. Yes, slightly more dust but I didn't notice any significant wear on the rotors.

Pros: long lasting, low wear
Cons: more dust

A few years ago, I put PowerStop front rotors and pads, and pad slapped the rears on my buddy's 2011 One Hundrert n' Fitty (and flushed his brake fluid and replaced it with DOT4 synthetic). He said it was the best braking feel and performance he's ever had in the truck, and he bought it with 6 miles on the odometer and had pads done previously. He's still using the same stuff, too, rotors are still well within spec several years later.

Pros: best braking feel, great performance

I had these, worked fine in the configuration they send. Don’t put more aggressive pads on and absolutely do not track on these rotors. I put hawk hp+ pads on and did some track driving, cracked the rotors in 20 places…

Pros: worked fine
Cons: rotors crack easily
