Brake discs POWER STOP or DBA

DBA Brake discs

I'm running DBA T3 Rotors with Powerstop Z26 Street Warrior Pads. I love the DBA rotors and had them on my previous Genesis Coupe. The Rotors aren't cheap with but worth it IMO.

Pros: worth it
Cons: rotors aren't cheap

DBA Brake discs

Got DBA T3 4000 rotors on sale from tire rack a couple weeks ago for cheaper than the T2s. Hawk HP 5.0 pads and I'm very happy with the results.

Pros: very happy with results

I went with DBA street series with hawk pads. No complaints after 2 yrs of daily. Street Series feels more OEM+.

Pros: feels more OEM+, no complaints

POWER STOP Brake discs

Power Stop is a super nice upgrade. Been using on my cars since I started driving. I just upgraded my 16’ Frontier to them last week and it was mind blowing how much better they are than stock.

Pros: super nice upgrade, much better than stock

My stock rotors (metallic pads) lasted 9 years and a track day. My ebay drilled/slotted rotors (ceramic pads)lasted 9 years and a handful of track days; they didn't crack the chamfer was just looking iffy. My latest set is from Amazon, powerstop branded drilled/slotted rotors (ceramic pads); have survived 1 track day, 1 light hdpe day and are on year 3. If you get drilled (any brand), you need to inspect the rotors more often.

Cons: iffy chamfer, needs frequent inspection
Vehicle: BMW
