I used TRW XPS rotor and TRW DTEC pads on my city previously, drive rather spiritually on weekend rides at most of the famous B-roads in KV. No problem in stopping, bite points has improved over the stock
Trw rotors are good. Using for 4 years still vigorous and holds well even entensive abuse and torture.
I paid 180 euros for all rotors and pads from TRW and Brembo. Worked fine for me.
I use Centric rotors/drums and Akebono shoes/pads from RockAuto. They work fine, despite FUD on OEM for shoes.
TRW, ATE, or Zimmermann rotors. All 3 are absolute top quality.
I'd also recommend centric for the rotors.
My solution is to always use top of the line brake pads like PFC 11s or raybestos st43 and up.
The other thing I ended up doing is once I really started being able to push the car hard, I installed Porsche 911 993 air deflectors on the lower control arms and that increased airflow was just enough to let me get away with keeping the small brakes. This past weekend I was at VIR and I was getting up to 130 on the straights, even bumping up against the rev limiter in fifth before braking for roller coaster, and the brakes held up fine. That and $30 RockAuto centric rotors.
Rock auto it legit. The power stop bundle is nice. For my accord, I usually go with centric rotors and akebono brake pads.
Yes. I previously replaced my OEM brakes with Centric rotors bought from Rock Auto then recently went with Brembos due to the warranty.
I've got cheap discs 15K miles ago and I've got terrible judder under braking (when brakes are hot) for the last 10K miles..I was thinking to replace the front ones with trw discs and jurid pads
