Battery YUASA or ODYSSEY

YUASA Battery

My 12v battery died last winter and I decided to replace it with a Yuasa Silver battery after hearing people having problems with their 12v battery. It has a 5 year guarantee which gives a bit of peace of mind.

Pros: 5 year guarantee

YUASA Battery

Yuasa are always good, but I've been a big fan of "Big Crank" / [Batterymart.com](http://Batterymart.com) batteries on most of my bikes.

Pros: good brand

YUASA Battery

For the new Niro EV get a 027 battery from a third party. I got a Yuasa 027 65Ah for £90 from Halfords UK.

Pros: third party battery
Vehicle: Kia
Part number: 027

ODYSSEY Battery

I finally spent the money on an odyssey extreme on my 7.3 along with an aftermarket starter and battery cables. Absolute game changer in the wintertime. I could leave it out in the cold for a week and it would start faster than the old battery setup would in the summer.

Pros: game changer, starts faster

Yes! I had to change mine in just a year and a half!!! I was so surprised because it’s Yuasa and it’s not the first I buy for my bikes (during the last 15 years).

Cons: short lifespan
