Yuasa is absolutely the way to go
For the new Niro EV get a 027 battery from a third party. I got a Yuasa 027 65Ah for £90 from Halfords UK.
On my Kia Soluto 3 years and 6 months, it was still ok but I got nervous coz the last PMS recommended that I change it already. I switched to Yuasa and I hope this will also last around the same time.
I got a Duracell at Sam's Club for around $150, no prorating on 3 year warranty if it goes. Just a new battery.
Yuasa has been the best for me. Running in Hondas, kawasaki, and Harleys. Shortest life span was 3 years on a ratbob I built that constantly had electrical issues draining my battery.
I’m just pulling out a 4+ year old Yuasa that only started giving me problems about 2 months ago. Gonna try the $30 Mighty Max special this time since it seems to have some favorable reviews and we’ll see what happens. ????
Always like Duracell because I hate that damn bunny. But doesn't matter to me right now because my damn RMR is defective and drains the battery in 3 months.
I bought the battery last summer, drove the car around for about a month no problems.
I put the car away for autumn/winter.
Took it to auto parts store last night, checked in in the morning.
Employee brought it out, said it needed more time and put it back on "fast charger".
I come back 4hours later and they're telling me it exploded on the charger??
