I bought a red top optimum for my 2019 forester sport. Have had it in for almost 2 years without issue thus far.

Pros: reliable, no issues

My replacement was a Blue Top 34M and it's 8 years old. No issues with Optima here.

I get the exact same as you with my s9fe and s9, 16h and 11h, equal screen off, 100% usage.

Pros: equal screen off usage

Cons: high screen off usage

I've had great luck with the Optima Yellow Top DS46B24R for Gen2.

The s9fe's get great screen on battery time much better than s9's in my usage.

Pros: great screen on time

Cons: screen off usage high

I could get about 10 hours of youtube at around 20% brightness with average volume at 60hz locked Not as good as previous tablets imo.

Pros: 10 hours of youtube

Cons: worse than previous tablets

The battery is an Optima Yellowtop 5.5 75h, I changed it in 2018. It has central poles and the negative pole near the windshield. Now given the very high prices of the Optimas and since their lifespan disappointed me, I wanted to get a cheaper battery.

Cons: disappointing lifespan, high prices

my Optima Red Top failed after 2 years & 7 months. this is the last time I'll buy one.

Optimas are not the brand they once were, I would never put one in my vette after the brand new $300 red top I put in my Durango basically exploded a week after I put it in.

Cons: exploded quickly, poor reliability
