I like AGM batteries. Using optimas now, whenever these finally die I'll try another brand. 4 years in now and I can't notice any loss of capacity yet. They work amazing when it is like 0 degrees F, too.

I've had an Optima battery for several years. Still cranks my G20 van as if were brand new.????

I run optimas because of the extreme temps here. Can be -40 outside and over 120 in the summers. They've been great for my old 454 powered truck.

I always liked Optimas, but I bought mine 2-4 years ago. I heard the quality has gone down but haven’t checked myself.

I have definitely experienced said quality issues on multiple Optima batteries. They all lasted about a year for me.

Cons: short lifespan, quality issues
