Only thing I've added is a dash cam and all-weather mats. 26k miles with the fuel sender recall completed and a dead battery that is a known issue otherwise no issues.

Pros: 0% financing, quick around town
Cons: dead battery issue
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 26000 km

OPTIMA Battery

Just did that on my 19 gsw, no battery management extra thing to deal with, just the two connectors and obd11 for coding to fleece (not binary agm). Only issue I have is the battery blanket doesn't fit the bigger size.

Pros: no extra battery management
Cons: blanket doesn't fit

OPTIMA Battery

As previously stated. I have had an Optima Red Top in my Cabriolet for nearly 7 years and have never had a problem. During that that tiome, the battery sat out of the car for almost a year with only occasional bench top charging and was perfectly OK when put back into service. Also, recently I screwed up and left my lights on. The battery was dead dead the next morning. 1.43 volts present to be exact. Took some time but I was able to bring it back up, and it has been performing well ever since. Optima even has a video out about how to bring back a completely dead battery.

Pros: performing well, easy recovery
Cons: battery was dead
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I have an Optima Red Top in my 1990 Cabriolet. I have been very happy with it. It is probably about 7 years old at this time and I have never had a problem with it. Otherwise, I would REC a DEKA branded battery. IMHO, "cheap" batteries are not worth the relatively small ammount of money saved.

Pros: very happy, no problems
Vehicle: Volkswagen

OPTIMA Battery

The red top really isn't that special and optima's tech in general is more beneficial in regard to durability than current delivery.

Pros: good durability
Cons: not special, poor current delivery

Have two red tops in my 05 GMC. Sneaky suspicion one is bad. They were new when I got the truck six years ago.

Went to start truck after sitting five days and it was dead. Meter showed 12.1 and it charged in an hour which is very fast. Truck would turn over but not run. Checked charge again, primary at 12.4 and secondary at 12.7. Swapped places and truck starts, runs, all accessories work now.

Cons: failed after six years, truck dead
