the battery is in great condition.
Mmmm interesting, u must have bought a lemon. I Bought a new Nissan Deisel Ute in 2018, been all over the country, does heaps of Ks and towing. Original Nissan battery is only just showing signs of needing replacement. I can't complain.
My Nissan Leaf battery, which everyone on Reddit with an electric car they bought yesterday is very sure will die any minute, has yet to lose any of its range after 6 years and 50k miles.
My 2015 Leaf has 148k on it and still drives like new. The battery is down to about 85% but this is pretty old lithium tech with very early thermal controls on it.
We had a 2015 Nissan Leaf EV back in 2018. Fun little car but it only has an 80 mile range.
I have a 2018. purchased in april of 2021. the previous owner had replaced the battery about 6 months prior to me buying the car, within 6 months, the replacement battery (nissan OEM) died. in november 2021 i got new battery from autozone, and it lasted just 3 years.
Bought a 2025 Rogue Platinum less than 2 weeks ago. So far, on day 4 the car was completely dead in my driveway. Needed the battery replaced.
I don’t have an AMG, but a 2024 CLA 200d and having battery drain problem is annoying to say the least and haven’t even had the car for a month when it all started happening. It’s been at the dealer for the past 3 days and no voltage drop there. They gave me the signal blocking key case and they upgraded the software and still can’t find the problem. Third visit in the month and new battery installed too.
same issue with daily driver 2021 E63. In this case though, the car doesnt give me a warning as much as the Mercedes app on my phone - it alerts to low battery -even critically low, but when I get into the car it starts and there is no message.
I got a battery from Nissan under warranty. It has a 7 year 84K warranty if I recall. That battery less than 6 months later gave a fault and they replaced it again. '22 SV
