I got a Duracell at Sam's Club for around $150, no prorating on 3 year warranty if it goes. Just a new battery.
Don't get cheap ones!
Duracell is your only man
Regardless, while that’s sorta old for a battery, I have OEM BMW batteries going on 12 years with 89% charge capacity.
I replaced the OEM battery in my low-mileage 2019 Alltrack S two days ago. (OEM battery was lead-acid 5K0 915 105 D, it was replaced with a Duracell Ultra Platinum SLI47AGM, 600 CCA.)
These were very very well made batteries. They also used to be insanely expensive. Now, BMW knows the game and offers a 2 year warranty, which is pretty low for batteries, but they are very competitively priced.
My 2021 45e usually gets 30-34 in mild southern US weather per charge.
I drive a 2016 f15 x5 40e. After 7 years i still do the same distance full electric, maybe 2-3km less but can be my driving style
I’ve replaced several Duracell batteries recently that had been recently installed within the last few month. We’ve had good luck with power sonic, yusa, and first power.
my bmw would say this, a year after having a new oem batt installed, and only in the winter, dealer couldn't find the problem, so I traded it in for another subaru because parasitic draws are the last thing you want in a german car
Duracell killed 6 pieces of electronics of mine over 10 years. If you paid me, I would not use them.
