Battery Bosch or YUASA
I had an oem yuasa last like 15 years...replaced it with another yuasa thats over 4 years old now...no issues so
I ran a yuasa in my victory for nine years. It is now on its second life in my lawn tractor- 2 years and still going strong. Battery tenders for the win.
Change the battery to a bosch one, I had this issue and my car does 600 miles a week for work took it to toyota and they just kept charging it then giving it back to die again the next Monday morning, they tried to say I wasn't driving it enough until they pulled up the service history (2020 with 54k miles) but they still wouldn't agree to replacing the battery
A Yuasa is the best I've ever found.
I use a Group 27 battery in my Mustang and have found Bosch to work very well for me.
My Scout sixty battery just died after 5 years. The longest living battery I've had. I went looking for replacements and due to availability and quality I chose the Yuasa YTX14AH-BS. I've used Yuasa in all my previous motorcycles (BMWs) with no problems so when I found they also made batterys for Indians, I bought one. That was just two weeks ago but so far no problems.
Put a new Bosch AGM in.
If you change the type from flooded wet cell to AGM, you must code the BCM to change the charging parameters.
At one time Bosch batteries had a terrible reputation but they now have their quality control back on track.
Yes! I had to change mine in just a year and a half!!! I was so surprised because it’s Yuasa and it’s not the first I buy for my bikes (during the last 15 years).
