I use Valvoline Zerex Asian Blue in mine. Good stuff, and compatible with OEM Mitsubishi coolant, for like half the price.

Pros: good quality, OEM compatible, half price

Flush your cooling system and replace the green coolant with Valvoline Zerex G48, it's what's inside BMW's coolant jugs at the dealer.

I used Valvoline Zerex Asian Blue Vehicle Antifreeze/Coolant in my 1st gen anytime I needed to drain the radiator because you can buy it anywhere. 50/50 is handy for top offs but if I was doing a full flush I got concentrated and mixed with distilled water which comes out a good bit cheaper.

Pros: easy to find, handy for top-offs, cost-effective
Vehicle: Subaru BRZ

Since that 5/2023 bulletin refers to Valvoline as formulating the latest version of G12Evo, and Valvoline/Zerex HT-12 says on the bottle that it is for G12Evo applications as well as referencing VW TL 774-L, it should be okay to use HT-12 in our coolant systems.

Pros: okay to use HT-12
Part number: HT-12

Yes, the documents say they are compatible - at the cost of losing some corrosion protection. Don\u2019t use G13 if you have a choice. G13 becomes acidic and causes leaks, and leaves deposits in the system which cause clogging. VW switched to G12evo for a reason.

Pros: compatible according to documents
Cons: losing corrosion protection
