Antifreeze PEAK or OEM Mazda

PEAK Antifreeze

Using an AMAM coolant (typically yellow - “All Makes, All Models”) is the safest thing you can do. It has none of the nitrites, borates, silicates, etc. that can cause issues in various systems. It’s really one coolant that works everywhere. Peak 10X is a solid choice in that realm.

Pros: safest, no harmful additives, works everywhere, solid choice

You're not supposed to add tap water... distilled water is fine for emergencies, but always top up with coolant whenever possible

Pros: distilled water for emergencies
Cons: not tap water

I bought peak global lifetime 50/50 pre diluted antifreeze & coolant. The ingredient list matches the HD one. I believe that is what they use it is just colored differently. I checked with my dealer and they said it is perfectly fine to use.

Pros: ingredient list matches HD

I run the Peak Final Charge Global red coolant. Less corrosive than the green stuff, and I haven’t had any issues running it.

Pros: less corrosive, no issues
